Agave victoriae-reginae - Queen Victoria Agave

Queen Victoria Agave (Agave victoriae-reginae) (Moore): A naturally-occurring species from Mexico's Chihuahuan Desert with incredible thick, white, bud prints. It can grow up to 15.0" tall and 24.0" wide and maintains a dense, globular form.

The leaves can be rounded or keeled, and though they do not have toothed margins they do have sharp spikes at their tips. This slow grower only flowers at the end of its life and will last decades before sending up a 10.0'-16.0' bloom stalk. Originally grown in a 3.5" pot.

NOTE: For protection in transit, this plant ships bare root, wrapped in paper.
