Turtle Vine (Callisia repens) (L.): A low growing, bushy plant with a mystical coloration of purple and green. This succulent can get quite dense and can even spill out of pots if allowed to grow long enough. Lots of sun or drier soil can bring out even more striking purples but it prefers wet soil. Its flowers are small, white, and have only only three petals.

Soft succulents will not survive a hard frost, but if there is a risk of freezing temperatures they can be brought indoors to grow on a sunny window sill or under a grow light. They need ample sunlight, and good drainage to prevent rot.
